SHOP OUR LOOKS:
There was one picture of Nina, where I was spoon feeding her and she was looking into the camera mid HUGE eye roll at me, all like “mom please stop this is so embarrassing” ha! I’m going to save that gem of a picture for another day.
Over the past couple of months over on Instagram you have heard me chat about how much we have relied on Walmart for all of our baby needs with Nina (here & here). Walmart was there for that whirlwind 3 week prep we had before Nina was born and we had to get everything a baby (and a momma) needs, it was and still is super convenient when I notice that all of a sudden we are on our last diaper or almost out of formula. We have been able to rely on Walmart as Nina grows and reaches new milestones, like when we need to baby-proof the house, or upgrade the carseat.
SHOP OUR BABY ESSENTIALS FROM WALMART:
Nina turned one in June, so bittersweet. They always grow too fast, but I love this cute age so much when their personalities start to show. Lately, we have been leaning on Walmart for her new routines in both feeding, and bedtime.
She is little Ms. Independent (but always needs a mom within eyeshot) and wants to feed herself on her own without anyone’s help. I found this great Bumkins Disney Baby Silicone Suction Bowl and Spoon meal set at Walmart that suctions onto her highchair tray so that she can’t throw her bowl onto the grow spilling out all of her food. Since she also sees her older brothers drinking out of cups and wants the same, I also grabbed this Dr. Brown’s Cheers 360 Spoutless Training Cup which has been so good for her to learn with and does not leak at all!
When bedtime rolls around, it has always been important for us as parents to have a routine with our kids. With Nina we give her a bath, with lots of bubbles. She is the cutest at saying “baff” and “bobbles”! She will help wash herself and knows the routine pretty well. I love the Shea Moisture Brand for Nina, and this bath set is a favorite around here. We then dress her in her jammies, which she always tries to do on her own by placing them on top of her head and saying “all done!”. After she is properly dressed, it is book time, she loves the soft books that are interactive! I have grabbed a couple of these Melissa and Doug Soft Activity Books from Walmart for a great price. We then give kisses and it is night-night time!
Here are a few more baby essentials from Walmart that we love at this stage with Nina!
