Pattern Play

I just had to share this outfit before spring! Each day just keeps getting warmer and warmer, and while I LOVE it-I love fall and winter clothing too!

One of fun things of playing dress up is pattern play and mixing different textures. From the moment I saw this wine color flowy dress I knew it needed to be added to my wardrobe! I Just love the boho style, along with the floral print, and long sleeves!

The length of this dress is purfect for these OTK boots! I like my over the knee boots to have a little bit of heel to them, it makes legs look even longer!

I then felt like I needed something more to just my dress and OTK boots, enter in the fur vest! I couldn’t find my exact one anymore for you guys, BUT found some dang good ones! Here, here, and here.

Let chat about my hat. It literally took me ALL of fall and basically all of winter to finally wear one. I always think others look so cute when they throw on a cute floppy hat! But me? Ew. Plus every single hat I tried on was too big, I have a baby sized head. But, I got brave, and added one to this outfit, and I think it made the look! (and I found one that fit my small head.) Get my same floppy wool hat here.

Now it is time for the pattern play to come into…play. It is actually quite simple, you just need to remember that: leopard is a neutral. Therefore, it goes with everything, and is automatic pattern play without the worry that you look like a homeless slow school drop out!

My clutch is a gift from travels to Europe, but here are some that I love! Herehere, and here.

Bonus points about this boho dress is that it can totally be worn in warmer temps too! Just get rid of the faux fur, replace the OTK boots with chunky heeled sandals, and throw your hair up in a messy hair bun!
